As a child growing up in southern California, I spent many afternoons at the beach. And as soon as I learned to drive I would spend more afternoons combing through racks of clothing at thrift and consignment stores. My mission: to find the perfect vintage bathing suit.

After spending time in the fashion industry styling and researching fashion trends, I was discouraged by the fact that many women still dreaded shopping for bathing suits.

Uncomfortable bathing suit shapes are the norm; and many of us are left striving for our own bodies to conform to these designs.

With my love of vintage silhouettes in mind, I decided to create a small collection of bathing suits that reflected the charm of the "bathing beauties" of yesteryear. The result of which is Zelda Sweetwater. The bathing suits have all been produced in New York City and have been carefully crafted.

I hope that you, along with a friend (or two!) discover that these bathing suits are not only beautiful to look at, but also make you look and feel wonderful.
